    Get Involved Today

Greetings, all. My name is Ari Abramowitz and I am truly excited and proud to be a part of Public Knowledge this summer. I hail from New York City and ride the Amtrak every weekend to be here (someone please let me know if they've instituted a “frequent rider” plan).

In the Fall, I will be a 2L at Cardozo where I am also President of the IP Law Society. Copyright/trademark policy and reform are my primary interests, with an eye towards the nature of creativity and its optimization within our culture. I look forward to covering current issues, such as orphan works and ACTA, as well as more “slice of life” cases, such as the recent Hermes' suit against eBay and the Lennon estate's suit against Ben Stein.

In past lives, I've also done a good deal of writing about music, so if anyone wants to discuss the relative merits of King Crimson and Magma, shoot me a line.
