Today, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-VA) introduced the Innovation Act in the House of Representatives. The Innovation Act is a response to the rising number of instances of abusive patent lawsuits. The bill introduces changes to various aspects of patent litigation practice and other parts of the patent system.
