Public Knowledge Welcomes New Policy Counsel to Bolster Advocacy Efforts

    Public Knowledge welcomes Allie Bohm, Policy Counsel, to our team to focus on government affairs work in key issue areas including broadband policy, privacy, artificial intelligence, and other tech policy initiatives. She holds a J.D., magna cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center, and a B.A., magna cum laude, in Peace & Justice Studies, English, and Dance from Tufts University.

    Prior to joining Public Knowledge, Ms. Bohm was an Advocacy & Policy Strategist at the American Civil Liberties Union, where she worked on state policy nationwide related to speech, privacy, and technology (among other issues). While in law school, she was a Legal Fellow for Senator Durbin on the Senate Judiciary Committee and also worked in the Office of the White House Counsel during the Obama Administration, in the Office of Equal Employment Opportunity Commissioner Burrows, at the National Women's Law Center, and at the National Partnership for Women and Families.

    Ms. Bohm began her career as a Legislative Assistant at the ACLU. She’s also an avid tap dancer.
